Double R Restaurant Group is pleased to announce the grand opening of Another Broken Egg Cafe (ABEC) on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 2554 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, Florida, 33761. Serving from 7 AM through 2 PM seven days a week, this upscale 3,775 square-foot southern-inspired breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch restaurant will have seating for 136 indoors, with an additional 46seats on the outdoor patio.
Those interested in a sneak preview of Clearwater’s first Another Broken Egg Cafe can come dine to support two very worthy local nonprofits prior to the official grand opening: the Humane Society of Pinellas and JDRF Tampa Bay. There is no charge for the public to attend these separate fundraising events, and donations can be made via cash, check or credit card and will be accepted for the featured nonprofits, each with its own special date. Friday, February 20 from 9 AM to 12 PM, guests dining can make donations to support the Humane Society of Pinellas, and National Love Your Dog Day, http://humanesocietyofpinellas.org. Pinellas County’s largest No-Kill shelter, this nonprofit organization has been caring for the homeless pets in the community since 1949, relying solely on donations to provide lifesaving services. The Society is committed to keeping people and pets together through a variety of programs such as its affordable Pet Clinic, Spay-Neuter Clinics and Pet Food Pantry.
Saturday, February 21 from 9 AM to 1 PM, guests dining will support JDRF Tampa Bay http://tampabay.jdrf.org/. Founded in 1970, JDRF is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Driven by passionate, grassroots volunteers connected to children, adolescents, and adults with this disease, JDRF is now the largest charitable supporter of T1D research.
