Arooga’s in the village of Patchogue is turning one this weekend and the restaurant is ready to party like the rock star it is, with a full weekend of live music, food and drink specials, a wing eating contest and giveaways.
Arooga’s and JGJO Development Co. LLC, which announced a multi-unit franchise agreement two years ago, opened the location at 1 West Main Street on the south shore of Long Island in Suffolk County on August 21, 2016. It is the first of at least 10 locations planned for Long Island (Nassau/Suffolk Counties) and Queens borough of New York.
Patchogue residents embraced the Arooga’s brand and the 7,450-square foot restaurant, which features more than 100 TVs offering nearly every sports package available. Guests have enjoyed Arooga’s diverse menu featuring fresh, made to order items created with high quality ingredients, which includes many organic and gluten free options. The equally impressive Bar has been a hit with handcrafted cocktails made with real fruit juices and premium spirits, and 44 beers on draft including national and local craft favorites.
