Mac & Cheese is King as Better Burger Brand Enters 2016 With Delicious Limited Time Offer
As winter’s chill sets in, Back Yard Burgers, the better burger franchise with a taste for bold flavors, is giving its fans a host of decadent new offerings, designed to bring comfort during the colder months. The hearty flavors, including a Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger, Bacon Jalapeño Mac & Cheese, Chili Mac & Cheese and Red Velvet milkshake, will be offered at Back Yard Burgers locations nationwide through January 25.

Inspired by the creamy, decadent texture of gooey, melting cheese, the new offerings make macaroni and cheese the star of the dish. The Bacon Mac and Cheese Burger features Back Yard Burgers’ signature flame grilled Black Angus beef topped with creamy white cheddar sauce noodles and sticky bacon jam on an artisan roll. The Bacon Jalapeño Mac & Cheese turns up the heat with twisted macaroni coated in a creamy white cheddar sauce topped with fresh chopped bacon, jalapeños and shredded cheddar cheese. Back Yard Burgers’ Chili Mac & Cheese offering takes the same creamy white cheddar mac and cheese and tops it with house made chili and shredded cheddar cheese.
The creative new limited time items are the brainchild of Back Yard Burgers’ Director of Culinary and Food Safety Angela Vega, who worked for months to come up with the right combinations that would truly hit home with the brand’s fans.
“With the introduction of these great comfort foods, we’re keeping our customers’ taste buds happy with exciting and delicious new items and finding our next great full-time menu additions,” Vega said. “Our Chipotle Burger, featuring Sweet Baby Ray’s® BBQ Sauce, chipotle mayo, cheddar cheese and smoky bacon started out as a limited time offer. The limited time offerings help Back Yard Burgers close out a year of steady growth, with an eye on expansion in the new year ahead. The brand plans to open several new locations in 2016, and is about to launch an exciting redesign of its existing store locations.
