New Fire-Braised Ribs, Big Irish Challenge highlight seasonal fare
It’s getting hot outside, but Bennigan’s has teamed with Hormel Foods to introduce a cool All-American Summer menu featuring several new items along with a few of the restaurant’s traditional favorites. The promotion kicked off on June 24th and runs through September 8th.
Bennigan’s is one of the first restaurants in the casual dining segment to offer the new Fire-Braised St. Louis Ribs and Fire-Braised Tennessee BBQ Sandwich featuring premium Hormel Foods meats.
In addition, Bennigan’s is rolling out a delicious new Pork Cutlet Sandwich and daring its guests to take the Big Irish Challenge, with t-shirts and other prizes at stake. The Big Irish Burger includes two 8 oz. gourmet patties served double-decker style with double the toppings. It’s not for the timid!
The summer promotion also features Bennigan’s red, white and blue specialty drinks – the Strawberry Sparkler, Poolside Pina Colada and Blue Bombsicle. Top it all off with Caramel Apple Mini Montes, a summertime twist on apple pie and ice cream covered in Baileys Irish Cream caramel sauce, and your All-American dining experience is complete!
“Summer means grilling outdoors and enjoying refreshing drinks with friends and family,” said Bennigan’s President & CEO Paul Mangiamele. “But it can get hot out there, so we decided to recreate the summer experience inside Bennigan’s with the help of our great partners at Hormel.”
Bennigan’s is also taking the summer to salute America’s finest with its second annual Wall of Heroes campaign, a guest-inspired initiative that encourages customers to purchase a drink in honor of anyone that is currently serving or has served in the U.S. Armed Forces. They are then asked to write a message on a Wall of Heroes notecard supplied by their server, take a photo of the drink and the message, hashtag the photo with #WallofHeroes and upload it to Twitter or Instagram. Guests may also email the photo to email@example.com.
For every #WallofHeroes photo uploaded, Bennigan’s is donating $1.00 to the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding the lives of severely wounded veterans of the War on Terror. The campaign kicked off on Memorial Day and runs through Veterans Day, November 11th.
