Bojangles' To Use its Iconic Bo-Berry Biscuit To Help Boost Breast Cancer Awareness, Education and Early DetectionTo focus more consumer attention on the importance of early detection and education for those affected by breast cancer, now through October 30 participating Bojangles’ restaurants will stripe their signature Bo-Berry Biscuits with sweet icing in a lovely shade of pink.

Bojangles’ and its long-time packaging supplier, D&W Fine Pack, come together annually in their support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), and its mission to provide help and hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services. This year Bojangles’ will donate $10,000 to the foundation.

In addition to striping its Bo-Berry biscuits with pink icing, Bojangles’ will use pink drinking straws and add NBCF contact information to its in-store signage to encourage patrons to learn more about the organization and the wonderful work it does in the community.

“This year as part of our annual donation and support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, we wanted to do more to draw attention to breast cancer health, so we’ve come up with a uniquely Bojangles’ way of reminding our loyal customers how important it is to help organizations that provide critical services to those diagnosed with breast cancer,” said Bojangles’ Senior Vice President of Marketing Randy Poindexter. “Our iconic Bo-Berry biscuit is the perfectly sweet vehicle to highlight our commitment to increasing awareness and doing what we can to help improve breast health care.  The National Breast Cancer Foundation provides life-saving services to underserved communities in partnership with hospitals across the country, and we are happy to do what we can to shine a light on the valuable services they provide.”
