East Coast fast casual chain California Tortilla announced today their 25th consecutive month of sales growth. The record-setting streak measures month-to-month growth in sales across the chain.
Company leadership attributes the growth since early 2010 to several factors, none of them coincidental.
“Over two years of growth in a down economy means that we are truly resonating with our audience, serving fresh food at a great value in an atmosphere people enjoy,” said President Bob Phillips. “We’ve used our Burrito Elito loyalty program and social media marketing to engage and reward our customers in creative ways over the past 27 months.”
California Tortilla has also increased their charitable presence, with recent donations to Manna Food Center, DC Central Kitchen and Philabundance, while announcing a$25,000 pledge for 2012 to No Kid Hungry.
“When customers enjoy fresh food, appreciate the value, experience a good time and know they are supporting fantastic causes, they will come back and hopefully bring friends with them,” said Phillips.
Since 1995, California Tortilla has been serving fresh, made-to-order, delicious,award-winning signature burritos, quesadillas, salads and other “Cal-Mex” favorites. Based in Rockville, MD, the fast-casual chain has over 37 locations across the Mid-Atlantic in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and the District of Columbia.
