Fast Casual Brand Opens Second Corporate Location in the Spartanburg Area on May 9

Captain D's Continues South Carolina Expansion with Grand Opening of New Boiling Springs RestaurantCaptain D’s, the leading fast casual seafood restaurant, announced its newest location in Boiling Springs, S.C., has officially opened today. Located at 4004 Boiling Springs Road, the restaurant will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting on May 12 at 9 a.m. with members of the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce. Fueled by the company’s aggressive expansion plans for South Carolina, this restaurant is the brand’s second new location in the Spartanburg area in the past six months, the first of which was opened in November of last year.

The new Boiling Springs restaurant is corporately owned and operated, and marks Captain D’s second ground-up restaurant in the Upstate since the early 1990’s. The 3,567 square feet Boiling Springs restaurant will showcase Captain D’s remodeled beach design, as well as a drive-through, and will employ 20-25 people. A ribbon cutting celebration is planned with the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce for 9 a.m. on May 12. John Kimbrell, executive vice president; Audrey Sperry, director of member experiences; and Shea Steller, marketing and design strategist, from the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance along with Tim O’Leary and Aric Long, the Captain D’s director of operations and area director, respectively.

Following the Boiling Springs opening, Captain D’s will be continuing its ongoing expansion in South Carolina with its next corporate location in Easley, which is expected to open later this summer.
