Captain D’s, the leading national fast casual seafood restaurant, announced today plans to expand its presence in North Carolina. The company currently has 28 Captain D’s restaurants located throughout the state with the most recent restaurant opening in Franklin on Sept 28.
This announcement comes on the heels of unprecedented growth for the brand in 2014 and continued success thus far in 2015. Captain D’s closed 2014 by reporting a 4.1 percent system-wide same-store sales increase, marking the company’s fourth consecutive year of same-store sales growth. Captain D’s attributes the company’s success to its ongoing menu innovation and new restaurant design, which exudes a vibrant coastal atmosphere and enhances the Captain D’s experience.
