Carvel… America’s Freshest Ice Cream, has named former Atlanta Bread Company VP of Marketing, Chris Campagna, as its new Vice President of Brand Marketing.
In his new role at Carvel, Campagna will work closely with Carvel President Scott Colwell, franchisees and key associates to continue evolving and building the Carvel brand. Campagna’s primary responsibilities will include overseeing the Carvel marketing vision, including the development and implementation of marketing, innovation and advertising campaigns.
Campagna joins Carvel just as the iconic ice cream company turns 80 years old next year. The company’s main focus throughout this momentous period ahead will include reinforcing its brand positioning and strategies as well as continuing to penetrate core markets in the Northeast and South Florida.

Campagna brings more than 18 years of marketing experience to Carvel. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Marketing at Atlanta Bread Company International where he led all marketing and branding initiatives. Before Atlanta Bread Company, Campagna worked with other restaurant industry leaders such as Don Pablo’s Mexican Kitchen and Papa John’s Pizza, assuming high-level positions within each of those brands.
