Smallcakes: A Cupcakery, the wildly popular international cupcake brand, will release its first cookbook on May 5th named Buttercream Dreams.
Six years after opening the first Smallcakes Cupcakery, Jeff Martin is ready to share Cupcakes, Ice Cream, and other childhood favorite recipes. The book will feature 30 recipes geared towards the everyday cupcake baker.
“I couldn’t be more excited about sharing my recipes with our Smallcakes fans,” says Jeff Martin, founder of Smallcakes: A Cupcakery. Some recipes will include Maple Bacon, Birthday Cupcake, Lily’s Strawberry Ice Cream, Strawberry Cupcake in a Jar, and Moms Holiday Fudge.
With stunning food photography of cupcakes, ice cream, and Jeff’s kids, Lily and Jax, Buttercream Dreams reveals a glimpse into the inner workings of Smallcakes and a little history of each recipe. More than just a cookbook, Buttercream Dreams is a testament to Jeff Martins conviction that anything is possible in today’s world. Starting with just $3k dollars in 2008, Jeff’s desire to grow a cupcake bakery into a international company and household name was possible.
Martin launched Smallcakes A Cupcakery in 2008 and the company has since grown to over 90 locations offering specialty cupcakes baked fresh daily. Smallcakes launched Smallcakes Creamery in late 2014 offering cupcake ice cream and now have 15 co-brand locations opening in 2015. Martin and Smallcakes have received national acclaim with his three appearances on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, a feature on the morning television show The View, catering cupcakes to star-studded events such as the MTV Video Music Awards, and being listed as one of the Top Ten Cupcake Places to try in the country by USA Today.
