Fast-Casual Restaurant Concept Gives Back with Customer Appreciation Day on January 28
Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only southern inspired, fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, is celebrating its eighth birthday by serving customers one free scoop of chicken salad. On Thursday, Jan. 28, guests can enjoy a little southern hospitality during the appropriately named event, Customer Appreciation Day. Each guest that visits a participating Chicken Salad Chick restaurant on Thursday will receive one free scoop of Classic Carol chicken salad*, one of the brand’s original and most popular chicken salad flavors.
“In honor of our eighth birthday, we really wanted to show our thanks to the communities that have supported us and helped us grow by serving a free scoop of our delicious, southern chicken salad,” said Stacy Brown, Chicken Salad Chick founder. “We are so proud of the growth that we’ve experienced as a brand, and none of it would be possible without our amazing customers and guests.”
Aside from the Auburn, Ala. restaurants, which celebrated their Customer Appreciation Day earlier in the month, all 45 Chicken Salad Chick restaurants across the Southeast are celebrating the brand’s eighth birthday on January 28.
The Chicken Salad Chick concept, born in Auburn, Alabama, was established in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. When Stacy discovered that the local county health department would not allow her to continue making and selling her delicious recipes out of her home kitchen, she overcame that obstacle by launching her first restaurant with the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant, which quickly grew; the company now has 45 restaurants across the Southeast.
