Fast-Casual Restaurant Concept Expands Presence in Florida

Chicken Salad Chick To Open First Naples RestaurantChicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only southern inspired, fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announced today it will be expanding in Florida with its first location in Naples. The new restaurant will open on Tuesday, May 17 and is located at 11180 Tamiami Trail North in Riverchase Plaza. This location is owned and operated by franchisee team Michael Carter, Joe Ciampi and Rick Stukes of Spirit Holdings Riverchase, LLC and marks the 12th Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Florida.

During grand opening week, guests will enjoy southern hospitality through giveaways and specials at the new Chicken Salad Chick restaurant:

  • Tuesday, May 17 – Meet the Chicks Day: The first 100 guests to order will receive a “Meet the Chicks” punch card. For sixteen weeks, guests can try one free scoop of the chicken salad ‘flavor of the week’, allowing guests a tour of every Chicken Salad Chick flavor. In addition, guests will receive one free cookie with the purchase of any Chick Trio.
  • Wednesday, May 18 – Healthcare Professional Day: The first 200 guests will receive a free Chicken Salad Chick hand sanitizer.
  • Thursday, May 19 – Tee Time Thursday: The first 100 guests will receive a complimentary Chicken Salad Chick Golf Ditty Pouch.
  • Friday, May 20 – Fitness Friday: The first 100 guests will receive a free Chicken Salad Chick bottle cooler.
  • Saturday, May 21 – Family Fun Day: The first 100 guests will receive a complimentary Chicken Salad Chick koozie.

Prior to Chicken Salad Chick, Carter owned and managed 50 Godfather’s Pizza restaurants, a fast casual pizza franchise. He decided he was ready to switch gears once he tried Chicken Salad Chick for the first time while moving his daughter to college in Auburn, Ala. Carter saw an opportunity combining his passion for business and entrepreneurship with Chicken Salad Chick’s unique concept. After a conversation with Stacy and Kevin Brown, founders of Chicken Salad Chick, Mike was sold on expanding the brand to Florida.

The Chicken Salad Chick concept, born in Auburn, Ala., was established in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. When Stacy discovered that the local county health department would not allow her to continue making and selling her delicious recipes out of her home kitchen, she overcame that obstacle by launching her first restaurant with the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant, which quickly grew; the company now has 53 restaurants across the Southeast.
