“My wife and I knew Warner Robins was the perfect spot for a Chicken Salad Chick because of its central location, fast growing market and nearby military base,” said franchisee Rob McLeod. “We’re excited to open the area’s first restaurant and look forward to bringing great food and genuine hospitality to the local community.”

Prior to Chicken Salad Chick, the husband and wife duo were both involved in the medical equipment sales industry. They also were part owners of a Zaxby’s franchise, which jump-started their interest in owning and operating their own business. After experiencing Chicken Salad Chick for the first time, the team was hooked on the culture and atmosphere of the restaurant and decided to diversify their business portfolio with the unique concept.

The Chicken Salad Chick concept, born in Auburn, Ala., was established in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. When Stacy discovered that the local county health department would not allow her to continue making and selling her delicious recipes out of her home kitchen, she overcame that obstacle by launching her first restaurant with the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant, which quickly grew; the company now has 57 restaurants across the Southeast.
