Popular pizza and wine bar, new German-style patio bar concept, seek outstanding team members for new venue at Omni Dallas Hotel
Two hot restaurant concepts created by Dallas restaurateur Joseph Palladino – owner of Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse – are coming to the new eatery space outside the Omni Dallas Hotel. But before Coal Vines and the all-new Biergarten on Lamar can open, a new team must be put in place.
The sister restaurants, which are scheduled to open soon, are hosting a three-day Job Fair for interested candidates July 7, 8 and 9, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Available positions include servers, bartenders, cooks, dishwashers, chefs and managers. Most front-of-the-house positions require at least two years of experience in a full-service restaurant or similar environment.
“We are looking for 45 to 50 very talented men and women dedicated to upholding the high standards of customer service that have made our concepts among the most popular and successful restaurants in Dallas,” said Bryan Hantes, director of operations for the two brands, as well as sister concept Nick & Sam’s Grill. “Both Coal Vines and Biergarten are high-end restaurants that will appeal to discriminating guests, including locals, conventioneers staying at the Omni and other out-of-town visitors looking for a unique Dallas dining experience. We will be highly selective; but for the right individuals, we will provide very rewarding career opportunities.”
The Job Fair will be held at the flagship Coal Vines location at 2404 Cedar Springs Road in Dallas. Interested candidates are invited to register online at CoalVines.com prior to interviewing. The site has an employment link where applicants may submit their resumes.
Hourly wages are competitive and based on experience. All positions start immediately, with opportunities for advancement. Significant training will be provided prior to opening day.
Coal Vines is a popular pizza and wine bar concept renowned for its signature New York-style pizzas, salads, pastas, entrée specials and desserts. It offers an extensive selection of stellar wines by the bottle or glass. The Omni location will be its fourth in the DFW Metroplex.
Biergarten on Lamar is a modern take on the classic German-style beer garden, complete with an outdoor patio. The perfect place for conventioneers to relax, roll up their sleeves and do business, Biergarten is also a great destination for downtown Dallas residents and professionals. It features an ivy-covered outside patio and a timeless interior design with white brick, light woods and a warm, casual setting.
Ric Levit of Concept Resource Group is managing both projects.
Joseph Palladino, a former New York City police officer who has become one of Dallas’ most respected and successful restaurateurs, also owns the iconic Nick & Sam’s Uptown Steakhouse and Nick & Sam’s Grill.
