Nashville hot chicken fans in Texas can rejoice as Crimson Coward, the Los Angeles-based restaurant franchise, opened its newest restaurant in Frisco, TX. The restaurant is at 3246 Preston Rd #510a, Frisco, TX 75034.
Frisco Grand Opening 12/3/22, 11 AM
Crimson Coward Frisco will hold the official grand opening next Saturday with DJ Rooty Red spinning. Highlights include a free Nashville hot chicken sandwich for the first 50 guests and free official merchandise for the next 50 guests (with their order).
Ten lucky (in-store) guests will receive a Golden Ticket added to their purchase. Each Golden Ticket is redeemable for a free year of food at Crimson Coward in Frisco.
Crimson Coward restaurants are locally owned and operated, bringing the authentic flavors of Nashville hot chicken to Frisco and nationwide. Restaurant owner Ali Hijazi took several trips to Nashville, TN, while developing the ultimate spice blend and Crimson Coward’s feature recipes.
The Crimson Rub and History
The proprietary Nashville hot chicken spice recipe is under lock and key. Hijazi shared that it took 120 spice variations until they found The Crimson Rub. The flagship Crimson Coward in Downey, CA, opened on April 20, 2019, with seating for 25 to 40 guests.
Menu
Crimson Coward’s menu offers Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches (The Crimson or Home Style) and Crimson Chicken (Tenders and Wings with five different heat levels). Plus, mainly plant-based sides, Mac and Cheese, Fried Pickles, Potato Salad, Crimson Fries, and Slaw.
Newer additions to the menu include the Garlic Twister, the Crimson Onion, and the Crimson Burrito, joining fan-favorite Joey Eats Fries on the Frisco menu.
Hijazi is committed to serving freshly cooked Nashville hot chicken, house specialties, and premium signature sides. “It is a privilege to open our fifth restaurant in Frisco. Providing us the opportunity to offer a high-quality, cooked-to-order local halal hot chicken destination in the Dallas Fort Worth area.”
He shared, “We source our chicken (all-natural, non-GMO, and certified halal) from some of the most reputable farms. We hand bread our chicken and cook to order.
