Dunkin’ Donuts Announces One New Restaurant In South Central Illinois With DLH Food Service LLC

Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, has announced the signing of a single store development agreement with DLH Food Service LLC for one restaurant in South Central Illinois. The restaurant is planned to open in 2013.

DLH Food Service LLC is a partnership that consists of Yonas Hagos, Michael Doran and Ronald Lardi. Hagos, a Veteran from the U.S. Military and Purple Heart recipient, will oversee the restaurant management and daily operations. Doran has an extensive manufacturing background experience and will support Hagos with the day-to-day restaurant operations.

“We are excited to expand Dunkin’ Donuts’ presence in Bloomington and play an important role in the daily lives of people who live, work and visit here,” said Yonas Hagos. “We have a passion and loyalty for the brand and look forward to the opening of our Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant in the years to come.”

Franchise opportunities are still available in Central Illinois and the surrounding areas including Springfield, Champaign, and Decatur. To drive its expansion efforts, Dunkin’ Donuts has aligned its strategy to support the growth opportunities and consumer needs of individual markets.  As a result, the company continues to expand with single and multi-unit opportunities with no minimum unit requirements.

“We appreciate the contributions that veterans like Yonas Hagos have made for all of us and are excited to welcome DLH Food Services to South Central Illinois,” said Grant Benson, CFE, vice president of franchising and market planning, Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. “Our success would not be possible without our dedicated franchisees and we believe Yonas, Michael and Ronald will cultivate lasting customer relationships and become an integral part of the South Central Illinois community.”

Building a solid network of stores within a market enables Dunkin’ Donuts to invest in a distribution model that provides consistent, high-quality products that guests expect.  In an effort to keep the brand fresh and competitive, Dunkin’ Donuts offers flexible concepts for any real estate format including free-standing restaurants, end caps, in-line sites, gas and convenience, travel plazas, universities, as well as other retail environments.
