It’s peach season in the Lone Star State, and Fireside Pies is pulling out all the stops to celebrate this delicious, locally grown fruit.
Beginning Friday, June 5, all four DFW-area Fireside Pies will be serving up a bushel of peachy menu items for its three-week #FiresidePeachFest. From a fresh new salad/starter creation to a crowd-pleasing seasonal peach fruit crisp and peach-infused sangria, the modern pizzeria’s limited-time menu offerings are worth the trip alone.
“Fireside Pies focuses on quality sourcing of products through local and regional vendors so we can provide the highest quality products to our guests,” said Joe Bozarth, Senior Operations and Culinary Manager for Fireside Pies. “We are excited about Texas Peach Season this year and all indications are this will be a bountiful, high quality crop. We can’t wait to offer these new items to our guests who anxiously await this great season every year.”
Fireside Pies gets all its fresh peaches from Cooper Peach Farms, located just south of DFW in Fairfield, Texas.
Fireside Pies’ limited-time PeachFest menu items are available through June 26, or while supplies last, and include:
- Roasted Texas Peaches & Burrata – Wood-fire roasted Texas peaches with Burrata mozzarella, baby arugula, candied Texas pecans and balsamic reduction;
- Texas Peach Market Crisp – Sugar-glazed roasted Texas peaches topped with an oatmeal pecan streusel and Henry’s Pecan Praline Ice Cream; and,
- Texas Peach White Sangria – Muddled Texas peaches with white wine, fresh-squeezed citrus and liqueur.
There are four Fireside Pies restaurants in the DFW Metroplex. The locations at 1285 Main St. in Grapevine and 5717 Legacy Dr. Suite 110 at the Shops at Legacy in Plano, open at 11 a.m. daily. The Dallas locations – at 2820 N. Henderson Ave. and 7709 Inwood Rd. – open at 5 p.m. daily.In 2004, Fireside Pies was born in an old cottage on historic Henderson Avenue in Dallas. Today, Fireside Pies is a collection of intimate neighborhood restaurants dedicated to serving outstanding artisan pizzas made in hot wood-fired ovens, as well as items that naturally complement pizza. These include market fresh salads, craveable appetizers, housemade desserts and, of course, a thoughtful selection of fine wines, craft beers and scratch cocktails. Each Fireside Pies restaurant reflects the character of its neighborhood so no two are the same; but all evoke the soul of heartfelt rustic cooking, genuine hospitality and the joyous spirit of a great gathering place.
