Father and Son Restaurateurs Create New Concept, Stateside Pie & Beer, in Dallas Metro Area

Stateside Pie & Beer, a new restaurant concept developed by Creed Ford III, President and CEO at Fired Up Restaurant Concepts, and his son, Creed Ford IV, an Austin-based restaurateur and owner of marketing agency, PMG Austin, is now open for business. Stateside Pie & Beer is located at 1335 N. Peachtree Road in Mesquite (at the former Carino’s Italian location).

The new casual-pizza and beer restaurant embraces America’s heritage by serving up food from scratch, its own private label beer and fun, creative cocktails. Stateside Pie & Beer was inspired by the creativity of the American culture, which underscores the restaurant owners’ belief that Italians may have invented pizza, but Americans perfected it.

“Stateside Pie & Beer is a place where our guests can kick back and enjoy classic handmade pizza pies, great American pub fare, and our very own Stateside craft beer while watching the game on one of our many HD TVs,” said Ford IV. “Whether you’re with friends on a night out or with your family, this is the kind of venue where everyone will feel welcome, comfortable and happy.”

Stateside Pie & Beer offers over 40 beers on tap by local microbreweries in Dallas and beyond as well as popular domestic beer brands. Pizzas (called Pies due to their traditional ingredients) are available in thick or thin crusts and offered in two sizes. Guests can create their own pies with a wide choice of toppings to choose from or select any of the special State Pies which include Texas, Pennsylvania, Iowa, California, Idaho and Louisiana.

Additionally, the menu features popular American pub food, hero sandwiches, salads and creative desserts such as bacon-wrapped fried Snickers®. Each dish is an original recipe, made with the freshest ingredients and a majority of food items are all under $10.00.

“This is not the typical Italian or pizza restaurant that many are accustomed to visiting. We’ve reinvented that concept by making Stateside Pie & Beer as a tribute to our American culture, creativity and work ethic,” said Ford III. “The idea came to us while listening to a WWII veteran share stories of his never-ending desire to return stateside while serving overseas. Those stories along with our love for fresh, delicious food and beer made for a perfect match.”

Stateside Pie & Beer serves unique all-American style pizzas, pub-inspired fare, over 40 draft beers and creative cocktails all at affordable prices. The concept was created by restaurateurs Creed Ford III and Creed Ford IV, and is owned by Fired Up Restaurant Concepts, which is majority owned by the Ford family.
