New Signature Items Feature the Undeniable Flavor Enhancer Known for Health Benefits and Fighting Vampires
October Menu Also Features a Pumpkin Pie Milkshake, a Mint Shake and an Adults-Only, Jack-o-Lantern Shake
Garlic, a favorite ingredient of chefs, foodies, nutritionists and those who fight vampires, is the central component of the Signature menu items at STACKED: Food Well Built in October.
Launched in 2011 in Southern California and now with restaurants in Torrance, Cerritos, Thousand Oaks and San Diego and more coming soon, STACKED was the first restaurant concept to leverage consumer technology to allow guests the opportunity to customize every aspect of their dining experience. Using tabletop iPads, guests choose among scores of ingredient options to create their own culinary masterpieces built around American fare including burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and Mac ‘n’ Cheese. STACKED also offers a selection of Signature items in each menu category, which can also be customized to guest preference.
Each month, STACKED offers a new selection of Signature items created around one key ingredient, which in October is garlic. Those items include:
Garlic Chicken and Bacon Pizza with Garlic Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, Grilled Chicken Breast, Grape Tomatoes, Applewood Smoked Bacon and Green Onions
Garlic Shrimp Mac ‘n’ Cheese with Fresh Garlic, Grilled Shrimp, Roasted Red Peppers, Roma Tomatoes, Green Onions, Cheese Sauce and Parmesan Bread Crumbs
Garlic Parmesan Bacon Burger starting with an Angus Beef Patty topped with Roasted Garlic, Fresh Parmesan Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Tomatoes, Greenleaf Lettuce and Creamy Herb Dressing on a Brioche Bun
Garlic Chicken Sandwich featuring Grilled Chicken Breast, Garlic Aioli, Swiss Cheese, Tomatoes, Avocado, Greenleaf Lettuce, on a Rustic French Roll
Steak Salad with Creamy Garlic Dressing built with Romaine Lettuce, Creamy Garlic Dressing, Gouda Cheese, Red Onions, Grape Tomatoes, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Roasted Garlic and Flat Iron Steak

“Aside from protecting you against vampires, garlic is a chef’s best friend,” said Paul Motenko, Co-founder, STACKED Restaurants LLC. “Garlic enhances the flavor profile of so many dishes, adding a satisfying depth to foods with a wonderful aroma that tells your senses something delicious is coming soon.”
In October, STACKED will also offer three new Signature shakes perfect for the start of fall and the upcoming holiday season, including an irresistible Pumpkin Pie Shake, a refreshingly sweet Mint Shake and a Jack-o-Lantern Shake, an adult version of the Pumpkin Pie Shake with Jack Daniels.
STACKED: Food Well Built is a full-service restaurant serving premium-quality, inventive and flavorful American favorites, where iPad technology serves as a platform for customization of incredible appetizers, burgers, pizzas, salads, sandwiches, mac ‘n’ cheese, shakes and desserts. Guests become culinary architects, building their meals exactly the way they want choosing from dozens of fresh ingredients and flavorful house-made sauces. Besides facilitating customization, the innovative ordering approach also lets guests control when they order and pay. STACKED also offers a full-bar, replete with multiple, flat screen TVs, and stocked with rotating craft beers, premium wine selections, and top shelf liquor for inventive cocktails.
STACKED: Food Well Built was founded in 2011 by the former co-CEO’s of BJ’s Restaurants, Paul Motenko and Jerry Hennessy, who developed that brand into a national chain.
