Local Franchisee Brings Popular Cajun Restaurant to Cranberry Township
Drawing on her experiences as a successful restaurant owner, a local businesswoman is celebrating the opening of a new J. Gumbo’s Cajun and Creole Restaurant, located at 10 St. Francis Way, #10 in Cranberry Township, PA.
Beginning this week, Donna Timko – as franchise owner – is welcoming guests to J. Gumbo’s, an emerging restaurant concept featuring its “fresh made, authentic Louisiana specialties” including such entrees as Gumbo, Jambalaya, Crawfish Etouffee, and their Voodoo and Bourbon Street Chicken. The restaurant also features a variety of Cajun-inspired appetizers and Po’ Boys.
“We’re pleased and very excited to begin what I believe is a very exciting opportunity to bring some fresh, wholesome Cajun food from New Orleans and offer it to everyone in our community and those who visit the area,” said Timko.
She added that the area surrounding the new J. Gumbo’s is among the fastest growing markets throughout Pennsylvania. Timko said she is also planning to offer veterans who visit the new restaurant a special offer – every day they are open – to honor their service.
The Cranberry Township, Pa. location is the first of five J. Gumbo’s Restaurant locations set to open across the country involving an Indiana-based franchisor known as Gumbo Growth, who is helping to contribute to the continued growth and popularity of the popular Cajun restaurant concept.
“Gumbo Growth LLC is delighted to announce the opening of J. Gumbo’s in Cranberry Township and the Pittsburgh area. Donna Timko is a very qualified restaurant owner. And, we know that with the addition of this new restaurant, it will help satisfy a growing consumer demand for J. Gumbo’s that we’re seeing across the country,” said Bill Church, president, Gumbo Growth LLC.
