Avid Hooters fan Rick Freeman wins weekly Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge powered by DraftKings
Hooters has teamed up with fantasy sports leader DraftKings to provide the nation’s diehard, wing-eating fantasy football gurus a shot at more than $300,000 in cash and prizes through the Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge. Rick Freeman, a 25 year veteran of Fantasy Football from West Baden Springs, Indiana, is the fourth winner of the season, cashing in on $5,000 and a trip to Florida to meet Jon Gruden, ESPN Monday Night Football analyst, for a full on football immersion session.
“In my 25 years of playing Fantasy Football, I’ve had some incredible seasons but never experienced anything as life-changing as meeting Coach Gruden,” said Freeman, avid Hooters fan and West Baden Springs local. “When I first heard I was in total disbelief, now I simply can’t wait to meet Coach Gruden and talk pigskin predictions.”
The $300,000 Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge, powered by DraftKings, unlocks free access for Hooters guests to put their fantasy football knowledge and skills to the test versus Coach Jon Gruden each week. Fantasy football fans are invited to grab an entry code at Hooters locations across the country to join the $300,000 Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge. Using the code, fans can set a DraftKings lineup for free in a matter of minutes to play for $50,000 in cash and prizes from Hooters every week, awarded September 13 through October 18.
“Rick certainly brought his A-game to Fantasy Football this week, as beating me in the Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge is no small feat,” said Gruden. “Each week I look more and more forward to seeing my new Fantasy Football challengers, so if you are ready to take me on, find your nearest Hooters, bring in your best players and get ready for a battle with me. If you’re victorious like Rick, you could win big bucks and a chance to meet me. ”
The promotion breaks new ground in providing football fans with even more reasons to make Hooters their go-to destination for watching all the games this season with the best wings in America and world-famous Hooters Girls.
