Izzo’s Illegal Burrito announced their twelfth location is set to open in Flowood, Mississippi on October 13th. The new location’s first five customers will receive free burritos for one year and the next 50 people to arrive on opening day will be given a free burrito! There will also be tons of Izzo’s Gear given away to celebrate this opening.
Founders of Izzo’s Illegal Burrito, Gary Kovacs and Ozzie Fernandez, are proud to announce that Izzo’s is opening its first Mississippi location in Flowood next month. “We are very excited to be expanding into the Mississippi area with our first store in Flowood,” says Ozzie Fernandez. “We believe MIssissippi has great communities and our future plans include new restaurants in Jackson, Madison, Pearl, Brandon and other nearby communities,” adds Fernandez.
Come out on October 13th for opening day and see what Izzo’s Illegal Burrito has to offer. The fast- casual Mexican eatery will be located at Lakeland Commons Shopping Center on Lakeland Drive and will be open from 11am-10pm Monday-Sunday.
Izzo’s specializes in “Roll Your Own” options including burritos, tacos, salads, bowls, nachos, quesadillas and salads filled with high quality meats and fresh ingredients. Izzo’s, based in Baton Rouge, opened its first location in 2001 at the south gates of LSU and has expanded to other locations including Baton Rouge, Metairie, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Covington, Bossier City, Harvey, and Birmingham, AL.
