Logan's Roadhouse Launches Second School Music Grant Campagin, Offers Additional $25,000 in GrantsLogan’s Roadhouse has launched the second round of its “Music In Schools” grant program supporting K-12 music education across the country. Now through May 20, eligible non-profit K-12 music programs across the U.S. can apply to receive grants from the total amount of $25,000 of funding that will be available in this round.

In the past few months, Logan’s Roadhouse has donated more than $28,000 to 24 school music programs across the country. In the first round of grants, Logan’s Roadhouse purchased high school band instruments, elementary school rhythm instruments, sheet music for bands and choirs and even helped contribute to a school’s trip to Carnegie Hall.

“Music is one of the core foundations of Logan’s Roadhouse, and we’re proud to support these future music makers and teachers on their journey,” said Logan’s Roadhouse CEO Sam Borgese. “We’ve seen how these grants can make a tremendous difference, and we want to do our part in this ongoing effort to see that our children have access to music education.”

Schools can go to www.Logansroadhouse.com/MusicInSchools no later than May 20, 2016, to apply for grants and see complete rules. Applicants should briefly describe how they will use their grant. Videos and photos can also be submitted for consideration. Winners will be notified by June 30 and will be posted to the website upon verification.

Troy Christian School in Troy, OH was selected in the first round of grants. In addition to their $2,250 grant, the school’s jazz band was surprised with a trip to Nashville. A video of their special experience can be viewed here.

In addition to its “Music In Schools” grant program, Logan’s Roadhouse also supports emerging artists through the “Music City Live! ?” tour, which will kick off a 15-market tour in summer 2016.
