Mama Fu’s, one of the hottest Asian concepts in the fast casual restaurant industry, announces today the addition of John Hester to the corporate team as the Chief Financial Officer.

Joining the Mama Fu’s executive team with over fifteen years of experience in all aspects of the foodservice industry, Hester adds dynamic leadership skills, a deep understanding of the industry, and proven track record implementing operational and sales strategies.

“I’m looking forward to joining the leadership team at Mama Fu’s. The concept is unique and their business model is proven,” said John Hester on joining Mama Fu’s as Chief Financial Officer. “There’s a clear passion for the business that can be seen throughout the system, and I’m excited to be part of it now.  Working closely with the Mama Fu’s team in place, I look forward to contributing to its continued success and national growth.”

A graduate from The University of Texas with an undergraduate and Master’s Degree in accounting, Hester began his career in public accounting auditing Sysco. He then joined Sysco where he quickly became a Divisional Controller at various operating companies throughout the United States. “Our energetic leaders and dynamic team are what drives this brand in a positive direction,” said Randy Murphy, President and CEO of Mama Fu’s. “Mama Fu’s is poised for growth as Asian cuisine continues to grow as a national trend among consumers and foodies. As we continue to strengthen our brand as a leader in the industry, John is an ideal addition to the team here to help direct and reflect that strength.”
