Bradenton-based First Watch will open Monday

Popular Tampa Bay Brunch Spot to Open in RiverviewFirst Watch, the popular Tampa Bay breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant, today announced it will open the doors to its newest Bay area restaurant on Monday, April 17. The new cafe will open at 7 a.m. at 13013 US Highway 301, Suite C, across from Wawa. The 3,400-square-foot restaurant will join 11 other First Watch eateries in the Tampa Bay area and will employ about 25 people. It will serve the company’s fresh, new menu and flaunt its new restaurant design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.

“Our neighbors in the Tampa Bay area have been absolutely instrumental to the growth and success of First Watch through the years,” said Chris Tomasso, president of First Watch. “For more than two decades, First Watch has grown and evolved quite a bit in the Bay area, and we’re grateful for the unwavering support our neighbors and friends here have shown during that time. First Watch’s innovative menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and inventive offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and an AM Superfoods Bowl made with Chia Seed Pudding. The new restaurant on US 301 will offer healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables, cage-free eggs and 100% fresh-squeezed orange juice as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings.

The new First Watch in Riverview will also offer options from the restaurant’s Fresh Juice Bar, juiced in-house daily using fresh fruits and vegetables sourced locally whenever possible. The restaurant will serve its exclusive Sunrise Select Premium Blend Coffee, made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown coffee beans from mountains across North, Central and South America, by the pot.

First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
