Quickcue Engages Investors - Raising $2.7 million in 60 days

Quickcue, a restaurant-focused, guest-experience platform, raised $2.7 million in private equity during a 60-day Series A funding round, to continue its vision of enabling exceptional hospitality everywhere. The round opened September 1 and closed October 31.

It’s Quickcue’s vision and planned product development that separates them from other iPad-based reservation, waitlist and notification applications in the casual-dining arena. Centered around redefining the “conversation” guests have with restaurants, Quickcue’s operational and consumer solutions facilitate communications that will help restaurants tailor the dining experiences, establish meaningful guest connections and improve feedback, dining efficiency and guest satisfaction.

The strong financial backing comes just a month after Quickcue announced that Chattanooga-based Craftworks Restaurants, the nations largest owner of brewpub concepts (Gordon Biersch, Old Chicago, and Rock Bottom), would be implementing Quickcue’s host stand iPad application.

“We want to turn every restaurant into “Cheers,” says CEO, Bo Ferger. “Our current waitlist, reservation and notification application is one of the most robust in the space, however our real intent is to open and sustain a meaningful dialogue between the guest and restaurant.”

Quickcue’s application organically captures guest preferences from seating to service requests developing an in-depth guest profile from visit to visit that easily sourced by   a restaurant’s hospitality team. Quickcue has plans to develop a two-way, smart-phone based dialogue offering more powerful and richer profiles allow guests greater input in developing their preferences and providing feedback.

Quickcue released its self-named app in March of 2011, and continues to add more features and functionality with every new release. “We’re not stopping,” added Ferger. “We have an incredible roster of new features to deploy over the coming months – all focused on making it easier for people to connect with their favorite dining destinations and for restaurants to better know their guests.” Quickcue is set to release Table Management for their iPad host application in January through Apple’s iTune’s App Store.

Quickcue, is revolutionizing the way restaurants engage their guests. The Quickcue host stand iPad application serves as the hub for restaurants to manage their waitlist, take reservations, and develop rich guestbook profiles that create loyal customers and valuable guest insights. Founded in 2011, and headquartered in Chattanooga Tennessee, Quickcue is currently available in the Apple™ iTunes App Store.
