Albuquerque, NM-based IL VICINO WOOD OVEN PIZZA (founded 1992) has added a new concept called Canteen Taproom (1). The company also operates Canteen Brewhouse (1) and Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza (4). Overall company increase was from 5 to 6 (20% company growth). These familly/casual Italian and pizza concepts are open for lunch and dinner, with an $8-$20+ per person check average. Beer and wine are served and average seating is for about 200. Online ordering and private party services are available. Trading areas are CO, KS and NM.

New York-based BLUE HILL (founded 2000) has added a new concept called Blue Hill Cafe & Grain Bar (1). Other company concepts are Blue Hill At Stone Barns (1) and Blue Hill New York City (1). Overall company increase was from 2 to 3 (50% company growth). The Blue Hill restaurant concept is upscale, serving American cuisine. Per person check average is $15-$50+, open for dinner. Units have seating for about 175. Banquet services are available. The cafe and bakery is open for lunch, with a $6-$15+ per person price range. All the restaurants are located in NY.

Lake Mary, FL-based GATOR’S DOCKSIDE (founded 1991) has increased by 2 units, from 25 to 27 (8% growth). The restaurant is a family/casual bar and grill, open for lunch and dinner. Per person check average is $8-$20+, with average seating for about 350. All the restaurants trade in FL.

Chicago, IL-based POTBELLY SANDWICH WORKS (founded 1977) has increased by 22 units, from 455 to 477 (5% growth) and entered into FL, IA, MS, MT, NC, OK and ON. This fast casual sandwich concept is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range. Units seat about 40 and offer online ordering, catering and delivery. Santa Fe Springs, CA-based IT’S A GRIND COFFEE HOUSE (founded 1994) has increased by 1 unit, from 20 to 21 (5% growth). This quick serve coffee shop is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner hours, with a $4-$12+ per person price range. Seating is for about 40. Catering, online ordering and drive-thru services are available. Stores are franchised and trade in CA, CT and TX.
