Concepts that have grown by at least 5% (if less than 50 units).

Arizona-based BABBO ITALIAN EATERY (founded 2002) has increased by 1 unit, from 6 to 7 (17% growth).  This family/casual Italian concept is open for lunch and dinner, with an $8-$20+ per person check average.  The restaurants have full bar service and seating for around 150.  Catering, banquet and online ordering options are available.  All the restaurants are in AZ.

Nitro, WV-based TUDOR’S BISCUIT WORLD has increased by 2 units, from 63 to 65 (3% growth).  The restaurants are family/casual, serving American cuisine.  Meal periods are breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Units seat about 50.  All locations are franchised and trade in KY, OH and WV.  Tudor’s is a subsidiary of Better Foods Inc.

Los Gatos, CA-based WILLOW STREET WOODFIRED PIZZA (founded 1991) has increased by 1 unit for the Main Street Burger concept, from 1 to 2 (100% concept growth).  The company also owns 3 Willow Street Pizza locations.  Overall company increase was from 4 to 5 (25% growth).  The Willow Street restaurants are family/casual, open for lunch and dinner, with a $6-$15+ per person check average.  Main Street Burgers are fast casual, with a $6-$15+ per person price range.  Willow Street has full bar service and Main Street serves beer and wine. Seating for all restaurants is about 100.  Catering, delivery, online ordering and private party services are available.  All the locations are in CA.

Irving, TX-based UNCLE JULIO’S (founded 1986) has increased by 8 units, from 16 to 24 (50% growth) and entered into PA.  This family/casual Mexican concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $10-$30+ per person check average.  The restaurants have full bar and seating for about 300.  Catering is available.  Trading areas are FL, GA, IL, MD, PA, TX and VA.

Irvine, CA-based YARD HOUSE RESTAURANT (founded 1996) has increased by 6 units, from 53 to 59 (11% growth).  This family/casual American restaurant concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $10-$30+ per person check average.  Restaurants have full bar and average seating for about 300.  Catering, online ordering and banquet services are available.  Trading areas are AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, KS, MA, MN, NC, NV, NY, OH, OR, SC, TX, VA and WA.  Yard House is a subsidiary of Orlando, FL-based Darden Restaurants.  We last featured this concept on 1/13/15 (18% growth).

Mount Pleasant, SC-based WILD WING CAFE (founded 1990) has increased by 3 units, from 37 to 40 (8% growth).  This family/casual chicken concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $8-$20+ per person check average.  Restaurants have full bar and average seating for about 250.  Catering and online ordering are available.  Locations are in FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, TX and VA.  About half the restaurants are franchised.  We last wrote about this concept on 11/4/14 (12% growth).
