Texas-based IGUANA JOE’S has increased by 1 unit, from 3 to 4 (33% growth).  The restaurants are family/casual, open for lunch and dinner, with an $8-$20+ per person check average.  Full bar is available and seating is for about 100.  Catering service is offered.  All the locations are in TX.

Astoria, NY-based BAREBURGER (founded 2008) has increased by 6 units, from 22 to 28 (27% growth) and entered into Japan.  This family/casual burger concept is open for lunch and dinner, with an $8-$20+ per person check average.  The restaurants have full bar and average seating for about 90.  Catering, delivery and online ordering services are offered.  Trading areas are CT, NJ, NY, OH, ON, PA and Japan.

Ann Arbor, MI-based COTTAGE INN PIZZA (founded 1948) has increased by 9 units for the Cottage Inn Pizza concept, from 47 to 56 (19% concept growth) and entered into FL.  The company also operates an upscale Italian concept called The Quarter Bistro And Tavern.  Overall company increase was from 48 to 57 (19% company growth).  The pizzerias are quick serve, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person price range is $4-$12+, with average seating for about 50.  Online ordering is available.  The restaurants are franchised and trade in FL, MI and OH.

Tucson, AZ-based BAGGIN’S GOURMET SANDWICHES (founded 1984) has increased by 1 unit, from 8 to 9 (13% growth).  This fast casual sandwich shop is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  Units seat about 70 and offer catering, delivery and online ordering services.  All the restaurants are located in AZ.

Seattle, WA-based ZEEK’S PIZZA (founded 1993) has increased by  2 units, from 11 to 13 (18% growth).  The restaurants are fast casual, open for lunch and dinner, with a $6-$15+ per person check average.  Beer and wine are served.  The average seating is for about 20.  Catering, delivery and online ordering are available.  Locations are franchised and trade in WA.

Utah-based APOLLO BURGER has increased by 2 units, from 11 to 13 (18% growth) and entered into TN.  This quick serve burger concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person price range.  The restaurants have seating for around 80 and also offer drive-thru service.  Trading areas are TN and UT.

Trevose, PA-based RITA’S ITALIAN ICE (founded 1984) has increased by 37 units, from 610 to 647 (6% growth) and entered into CO, KY, NE and NM.  The restaurants are quick serve, specializing in frozen custard.  Per person price range is $4-$12+, with average unit seating for about 20.  Catering and online ordering services are available.  All locations are franchised and trade in AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, KS, KY, MD, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA and WV.  We last featured this concept on 10/14/14 (7% growth).

Dearborn, MI-based LEO’S CONEY ISLAND (founded 1972) has increased by 4 units, from 52 to 56 (8% growth).  This family/casual hot dog and sandwich restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $4-$12+ per person check average.  Beer and wine are served at select locations.  Average unit has seating for about 100.  Catering is available.  All locations are franchised and trade in MI.  We featured this concept on 8/12/14.
