Bakersfield, CA-based KELLY’S COFFEE & FUDGE FACTORY (founded 1983) has increased by 1 unit, from 11 to 12 (9% growth). These quick serve coffee shops are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner hours, with a $4-$12+ per person price range. Seating is for about 10. Locations are franchised and are in CA.

Montreal, PQ-based LA PREP (founded 2010) has increased by 5 units, from 52 to 57 (10% growth). These fast casual sandwich restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $6-$15+ per person check average. Seating is for about 80 and catering is available. Trading areas are AB, BC, FL, ON, PQ and SK.

San Mateo, CA-based STRAITS RESTAURANTS (founded 1987) has added a new concept called Roots & Rye (1 unit), for an overall company increase from 4 to 5 (25% growth).
