Winston Salem, NC-based VILLAGE TAVERN (founded 1984) has increased by 1 unit, from 10 to 11 (10% growth) and entered into the Phillippines.  This family/casual concept is open for lunch and dinner, serving American cuisine with a $10-$30 per person check average.  The restaurants seat about 300.  Banquet services are available.  Trading areas are AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, NC, and The Phillippines.

CEVICHE TAPAS BAR & RESTAURANT of Tampa, FL (founded 1997) has increased by 1 unit, from 5 to 6 (20% growth).  These are upscale restaurants with full bar and seating for around 200.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $15-$50+.  Catering and banquet services are available.  All locations are in FL.

DELECTABLE EGG based in Denver, CO (founded 1982) has increased by 1 unit, from 4 to 5 (25% growth).  These are family/casual restaurants open for breakfast and lunch.  Seating is for around 125 with patio seating available.  Per person check average is around $4-$10.  All locations are in CO.

Scottsdale, AZ-based WILDFLOWER BREAD COMPANY (founded 1996) has increased by 1 unit, from 11 to 12 (9% growth).  These fast casual bakery/cafes are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $3-$8 per person price range.  Units seat about 50 and offer catering service.  All locations are in AZ.

San Jose, CA-based TOGO’S EATERY (founded 1971) has increased by 7 units, from 236 to 243 (3% growth) and entered into AZ.  This concept is a quick serve sandwich shop, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person price range is $2-$6, offering catering service.  Units seat about 90 and all are franchised.  Trading areas are AZ, CA, NV, and OR.

EL TORO of Tacoma, WA (founded 1979) has increased by 1 unit for the El Toro concept, from 5 to 6 (20% growth).  There is a second company concept – El Toro Viejo (2 units).  These are family/casual Mexican restaurants with full bar and seating for around 225.  Per person check average is around $8-$20.  Banquet services are available.  Locations are in UT and WA.

Waukesha, WI-based GEORGE WEBB RESTAURANTS (founded 1948) has increased by 2 units, from 29 to 31 (7% growth).  This family/casual concept is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving American cuisine.  Per person check average is $6-$15+.  Units seat about 80.  All are located in WI.  Between 60% and 70% of the restaurants are franchised.

Houston, TX-based RUSSO’S NEW YORK PIZZERIA (founded 1992) has increased by 2 units, from 29 to 31 (7% growth) and entered into FL and AR.  This is a family/casual Italian & pizza concept, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person price range is $6-$15+, serving full bar with seating for about 100.  Catering, delivery, and online ordering services are available.  Between 70% and 80% of the locations are franchised.  Trading areas are AR, FL, OK, TN, and TX.  We last featured this concept on 11/29/11 (12% growth).

City of Industry, CA-based WABA GRILL (founded 2004) has increased by 14 units, from 35 to 49 (40% growth).  This fast casual Japanese concept is open for lunch and dinner, with a $4-$10 per person price range.  Units seat about 80 and offer catering service.  All locations are franchised and trade in CA.  We featured this concept on 11/15/11 (15% growth) and on 5/29/12 (13% growth).
