She believes the attitude toward Italian cuisine has been viewed through a “fine dining” lens and she wants to offer simple foods as her father would have offered their home guests.
Richmond, VA – East Coat Provisions
Richmond Restaurant Group continues their growth with their next opening of this casual-feel, upscale menu concept to open fall of 2017 at 11800 W. Broad Street. The name suggests a menu focus on east coast seafood from local waters featuring an oyster bar, sushi and hand-cut steaks for landlubbers.
Nashville, TN – Aubrey’s Restaurant
This will be the tenth location of this eastern Tennessee casual dining operation planning for a fall opening to be located at 234 E. Emory Road. Guests will be welcomed to their full service bar with 40 draft beers on tap and menu favorites such as burger & beer night, wings and hand-carved prime rib.
St. Pete Beach, FL – Grace
Competition for guests at this seaside resort town can be high at times and perhaps that lends to the limited information about this new casual concept with a planned spring 2017 opening at 120 8th. Avenue. A sneak peek suggests menu items such as lobster nachos, charcuterie, taquitos and steak frites.
Boston, MA – Boston Chops Downtown Crossing
Locally-renowned Chef Chris Coombs will open the second of his highly-acclaimed steakhouse sometime in August at 52 Temple Place. The setting is a former bank with the vault offered as a private dining area. New to the steak-heavy menu will be a burger under development for their newly offered lunch service.
Alexandria, LA – Walk-On’s Bistreaux and Bar
This Cajun-themed casual dining sports bar will open their fourth location in time for football season at 2956 S. MacArthur Drive. Beyond their full service bar and multiple TV screens for sporting event viewing the menu will feature their ever popular “Cajundilla” and their Krispy-Kreme bread pudding.
