Website wins second place in prestigious Excellence in Journalism Awards

San Diego-based Healthy Dining was recently honored with a second-place award for its web and mobile site,, at the San Diego Press Club’s 41st annual Excellence in Journalism Awards.

The ceremony, which each year bestows the region’s most prestigious awards in journalism, was held at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation. With more than 1,300 entries this year, the San Diego Press Club’s Journalism Awards is also among the largest regional competitions in the United States, celebrating the talent of San Diego’s finest reporters, photographers, media outlets and websites.
