Say Howdy to Dickey’s Newest Location

Dickey’s Barbecue is opening a new location in Grand Prairie.  Franchise owner Matt Wilson is excited to be bringing lip smackin’ barbecue to the area.

“The surrounding area is really booming,” said Wilson. “Dickey’s is a unique concept and I know it’s going to fit in perfectly here.”

Wilson has been in the restaurant industry for 12 years and telecommunications for 12 years. He lives with his wife Dawnielle and daughter Bradyn in Plano.

“If you’re from Texas you’ve heard of Dickey’s and once I heard that Dickey’s had franchise opportunities it was pretty clear that I would pursue a franchise with them,” said Wilson. “We can provide jobs to good people, serve great barbecue and uphold the Dickey’s legacy.”

The new location will be located at 3710 S. Carrier Parkway, Suite 110. According Wilson, he hopes to be open in May or early Summer.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened its first location in Dallas in 1941. Dickey’s began franchising in 1994 and has continued to grow across the country. Dickey’s currently has over 200 locations in 36 states nationwide.
