“For generations, Shoney’s has been America’s dinner table and has earned its place as an American icon,” said David Davoudpour, Shoney’s Chairman and CEO. “Now, we’re introducing Shoney’s to a new generation in new markets throughout the world by expanding via franchising with redesigned restaurants and a renewed dedication to fresh quality food, friendly service at a great value.”

Most recently, Harof worked for Hyatt Hotels. She played a key role in the site selection, construction, grand opening and management for Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina. Hyatt Atlanta is the number one Hyatt franchise and is in the top ten of Hyatt Hotels worldwide for sales, service and operations.

Prior to working at the Hyatt, Harof was Vice President, Advertising, Public Relations and Events for 20First Hospitality, a hospitality management company based in Atlanta with more than $15 million in annual sales. Harof earned her degree from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Public Relations.

Davoudpour says Harof’s proven track record, attention to detail, listening skills and enthusiasm are exactly what the brand needs to propel Shoney’s back to its Glory Days. Since acquiring the great American eatery in 2007, he has been on a driven and spirited mission to revitalize and reinvigorate Shoney’s, a family-friendly, southern style restaurant brand and feels franchising is the next step.

With Harof on board, Shoney’s is now offering franchising opportunities to qualified single and multi-unit candidates. For more information, visit http://www.shoneys.com/franchise/.
