The Restaurant’s First Riverside Location Is Now Open And Will Celebrate Its Grand Opening With Festivities All Weekend Long, June 25 – 27
Slater’s 50/50, the full-service Southern California-based restaurant concept, known for all things bacon, burgers, and beer, has opened doors at its newest restaurant in Riverside, Calif. at 3750 University Ave #125. The Downtown Riverside restaurant boasts a self-serve wall of 30 rotating taps featuring an array of local craft beers and wine, and Slater’s signature menu of over-the-top burgers and bacon-centric dishes. A weekend-long Grand Opening celebration is planned for Friday, June 25 – Sunday, June 27 and guests will enjoy an array of festivities from door prizes and free Slater’s swag to games and more!
“As longtime fans of Slater’s 50/50, it’s such a fulfilling moment for us to finally open our own location of our favorite restaurant,” said Kaitlin Garcia, owner and operator of the Riverside location. “My husband Ivan and I met at University of California Riverside and would frequent the Slater’s 50/50 in the area at the time. We couldn’t be more thrilled to now be officially part of the Slater’s brand and family and have the opportunity to bring the same joy and incredible food we’ve enjoyed for years to the Riverside community. We look forward to hosting a weekend full of fun for all to commemorate this exciting opening and introduce our neighbors and friends to all that Slater’s has to offer!”
The Grand Opening weekend schedule will include:
- Friday, June 27 –
- Doors open at 11am and the first 50 guests will score Slater’s swag
- A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Riverside Chamber of Commerce and elected officials will be held at 5pm
- Beginning at 6pm, Garage Brewing Company will be onsite and will be giving guests prizes
- Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 –
- Doors open at 11am and the first 50 guests on both days will receive a coupon entitling them to one free burger per month through Labor Day
- Additional tap takeovers with local breweries and other festivities like onsite games will also take place all weekend long!
Slater’s 50/50 was founded in 2009 and built on a passion for all things burgers, bacon, and beer. The Downtown Riverside restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
