Smokin' Hot Dickey's Barbecue Pit Open Thursday in WyomissingWyomissing residents can stay warm this January when Texas tradition, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opens on Thursday, January 8 at 11 a.m. The new fast-casual option offers barbecue favorites like brisket, pulled pork and ribs smoked low and slow overnight in the restaurant. To celebrate his new barbecue joint, local owner, Frank Caloiaro is hosting a three day grand opening celebration with multiple prizes and giveaways.

“I can’t wait to bring the greatest barbecue to the Wyomissing community,” said first time owner, Frank Caloiaro. “I’m especially excited to give back to those in the community by hosting fundraising events and catering community events — great tasting barbecue and giving back have always been passions of mine, so it’s exciting to get to do the two things I love.”

Thursday kicks off the party with the first 50 guests receiving gift cards ranging from $5 to $50. On Friday, guests can stop by for all day merchandise giveaways. On Saturday, Pennsylvania’s county station, I105 will be on-site from noon to 2 p.m. and guests score a barbecue deal with $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. One lucky guest will win a $500 gift card and three winners will win free barbecue for an entire year.
