The Egg & I Restaurants Recognize Top Franchisees at Annual Awards Dinner



Denver-based The Egg & I Restaurants, a leader in the breakfast & lunch category with 54 restaurants open and 17 more currently under development, presented its high-achieving franchisees with awards and recognition at its third annual franchisee award dinner held in Denver, CO on March 6th.

The top two awards presented at the awards dinner were the Franchisee of the Year Award and the Unsung Hero Award.

The Franchisee of the Year Award honors the franchisee that exemplifies excellence in all areas of restaurant operations.  This year’s recipient was Brett Weis, representing the franchise owner of four The Egg & I Restaurants located in Kearney, Omaha and Lincoln, NE.

The Unsung Hero Award recognizes the individual who has had a significant impact on the success of The Egg & I brand, without necessarily, receiving the appropriate recognition for his/her accomplishments.  This year’s recipient was Ron Marshall, representing Mac Haik, the franchise owner of 11 The Egg & I Restaurants in Texas and Alabama.

The Egg & I Restaurants, headquartered in Lone Tree, CO, opened its first restaurant in Ft. Collins, CO in 1987. Today, there are 54 company and franchise restaurants operating in six states throughout the U.S.
