Urban Butcher Debuts Weekend Brunch

Urban Butcher, a bohemian inspired gathering place that celebrates the butcher’s art and nose to tail dining, announced today that it will be open for Brunch starting February 8, 2014.

“We are so grateful for the warm welcome we continue to receive from the community since our opening in December,” said Chef/Owner Raynold Mendizabal. “By serving Brunch, we want to give the Silver Spring community the means to spend quality time with family, friends and neighbors in a relaxing environment while enjoying good food.”

Urban Butcher Debuts Weekend BrunchIn addition to a number of dishes currently featured on Urban Butcher’s evening menu, its“urban rustic” Brunch menu will include items such as Brioche French Toast served with a dark berries compote, chili pepper and maple syrup butter ($10), Soft scramble eggs and broccoli rabe prepared with caramelized onions, goat cheese, home fries and salad ($14), an Omelet with smoked trout, green onion, roasted garlic & brie accompanied with home fries and salad ($14), and Cast iron country biscuit & pulled pork served with a ‘smoker drips’ barbecue sauce ($12).

Brunch will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am – 5pm.
