Born and raised in Lexington, KY, Leslie Sharp currently owns three KFC restaurants and is thrilled to open her first Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location. A lifelong restaurant owner and operator, Leslie first learned about Dickey’s after reading about it in Nation’s Restaurant News Magazine and was attracted to Dickey’s philosophy that it’s important to embrace change without being afraid to re-evaluate the business model in order to build upon success and growth. “I’m thrilled to be the first to bring barbecue to the town of Winchester,” said Leslie. “This is a real down-home community and Dickey’s slow-smoked Texas-style barbecue will be the perfect pairing.”
