Dallas-based Chain Signs 100 Units in 2014, Expects to Open 83 Restaurants in 2015
Which Wich, an award-winning, national, fast-casual sandwich concept, is looking forward to another strong year of growth after wrapping up 2014 with outstanding success. The innovative sandwich leader opened almost two restaurants per week and signed 100 additional units in 2014. The Dallas-based company aims to continue this momentum into 2015 as it expects to open 83 more restaurants in the U.S and abroad.
“Which Wich would not have achieved the success that we saw in 2014 without the dedication of our passionate franchisees, great staff, and loyal fans,” said Jeff Sinelli, founder, CEO and “Chief Vibe Officer” behind the booming sandwich brand. “We have continued to establish ourselves as an innovative leader in the fast-casual sandwich segment as more people learn about our Vibe, our product and our people”
In 2014, the unique sandwich concept signed 67 U.S. and 33 international franchises, and celebrated 62 store openings. Which Wich also debuted in 20 new markets last year, including Miami, FL; Detroit, MI; Washington, D.C.; Montclair, NJ; Myrtle Beach, SC; San Luis Obispo, CA, and Tallahassee, FL. Which Wich also debuted the brand’s first touchscreen-equipped drive thru location in Tallahassee.
The company expects to surpass the number of signed franchise agreements by 20 percent in 2015; 80 domestic and 40 international. Which Wich also hopes to grow their number of opened stores by almost 35 percent, with 83 new restaurants expected to open in new and existing markets. The brand has 250 stores that are currently in the site selection, lease negotiation, or construction phase.
“Which Wich is dedicated to improving the communities that we serve, so we’re very excited that we’re continuing to grow our footprint and offer our superior product and services to more communities across the U.S and abroad,” said Sinelli. “One example of the ways that we give back to the community is through our new philanthropic campaign Project PB&J, which we launched in 2014.”
The company currently has locations in 38 states and the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, and Panama. Which Wich is rapidly expanding and territories are available across the United States with a heavy focus in the Chicago, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, New Orleans and DC-Baltimore areas for growth. The brand is also looking forward to expanding internationally in 2015, with openings in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
