On Saturday, December 17, 2016, four participating WingHouse locations will host their annual WingHouse Christmas celebration from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The events will each help 60-80 local families throughout Florida. Each location will give out $4000 worth of gifts to children and families; picked out exclusively by the famous WingHouse Girls. Local charities benefiting from the $16,000 WingHouse Christmas event include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Boys & Girls Club of Manatee County, Ocala Outreach Foundation and The Salvation Army of Orlando.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay’s mission is “to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.” In 2015 Big Brothers Big Sisters served 2,990 children in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Citrus, Hernando and Sumter counties.

The Boys & Girls Club of Manatee County is an afterschool and summer program that offers hope and opportunity to every child in their community. They serve 4,100 children annually through programs that focus on academic success, good character and citizenship and healthy lifestyles.

The Ocala Outreach Foundation serves children and families in the Ocala community by helping those who need it most. They raise money for families who have children struggling with medical issues, as well as different outreach programs that benefit those in need.

The Salvation Army of Orlando has been a part of the Orlando community for over 50 years. The Salvation Army is about “doing the most good” and they strive to help men, women, children and families going through tough times. They offer emergency assistance, senior housing, adult rehabilitation and disaster relief.

“We believe in giving back to our community all year round, but especially during the holidays,” says Terry Ryan, CEO of WingHouse. “WingHouse Christmas is one of our most favorite times of year. We love seeing the joy on the children’s faces. That’s what the holiday season is all about.”

The first WingHouse was opened over 20 years ago in Largo, Florida by former Dallas Cowboy and Denver Broncos NFL guard Crawford Ker. The WingHouse of today still holds the same brilliant ideas that it had in the beginning. They believe that your experience should always include friendly, attractive and smiling service, oversized portions of delicious food at a great price, and be the ideal place to enjoy being a sports fan. They strive every day to deliver the WingHouse “Brilliant on the Basics” mission to every customer who is greeted at their door.

WingHouse believes that it shouldn’t cost all the money in your wallet to enjoy a memorable restaurant experience filled with sports, fun, friends, and a meal that leaves you feeling satisfied.

Every trip to a WingHouse starts with the foundation of their restaurant – The WingHouse girls. You can find the WingHouse girls greeting customers, serving tables or handing a customer a icy cold draft beer behind our full liquor bar. No matter where you find their staff, they are always smiling, friendly, attractive, attentive, outgoing, and knowledgeable – our ultimate brand cheerleaders.

Hungry for more? Like the name says, WingHouse was founded on made-to-order, juicy and flavorful customer voted best wings and 22 sauces. And although they haven’t changed the original recipe for success since they started, they have expanded the menu to include delicious shareable appetizers, fresh and flavorful salads, flaky seafood dishes, and craveable seasonal offerings. WingHouse dishes are always served in hearty portions for an affordable price – because they believe in delivering real everyday value to all customers.

They also believe that any outing to WingHouse is never complete without your favorite local and national sports.
