To celebrate the grand opening, the team is giving guests plenty of reasons to arrive early. Doors open at 11 a.m., with the first 100 guests in line receiving a limited-edition jersey. On top of that, the first 500 guests can enter an on-site raffle for a chance to win free food for a year, plus additional prizes through online registration.

The Palmdale opening marks another step forward in the brand’s rapid expansion, becoming its 37th restaurant in California and 42nd location systemwide. As the concept continues growing into new communities, the latest opening strengthens its presence throughout Southern California while bringing its bold flavors to more guests across the region.
Continuing a Fast-Casual Success Story
“Southern California has been a major part of Angry Chickz’s story since day one, and opening in Palmdale allows us to continue growing in the region that helped launch the brand,” says David Mkhitaryan, founder and CEO of Angry Chickz. “We’re excited to become part of the Antelope Valley community and give local guests a new spot to enjoy bold flavors, quality food and the Angry Chickz experience.”
The Palmdale opening highlights a continued focus on strategic growth while maintaining the quality, consistency, and hospitality that have helped fuel the brand’s expansion. The restaurant will create local jobs and provide a new gathering place for guests looking to experience one of the country’s fastest-growing hot chicken concepts.
Founded in 2018 in a tiny Los Angeles neighborhood spot, the brand has rapidly scaled into a multi-state franchise system with a loyal and growing fan base. Built on a simple, highly executable menu of tenders, sliders, bowls, and craveable sides, the operating model is purpose-built for scalability, focusing on operational discipline and premium product execution.
The brand has been recognized as a rising leader in the fast-casual space, earning accolades including QSR’s “Ones to Watch,” Fast Casual’s “20 Brands to Watch,” Nation’s Restaurant News’ Hot Concepts Award, and Fast Casual’s Top Movers & Shakers. Most recently, it ranked #44 on QSR’s Top 50 Contenders and #410 on Franchise Times’ Top 400.
