¡Bienvenido a Addison! Taqueria La Ventana to Open Expanded Concept in Addison on May 11Taqueria La Ventana, the funky taqueria concept offering everyday Mexican street food has expanded to Addison at 4180 Beltline Road. Currently operating a very successful downtown Dallas location, the laid-back eatery will bring an authentic taste of Mexico to another growing area of North Texas. Addison’s Taqueria La Ventana will open to the public on Monday, May 11 at 11:00am.

The Addison location is a 2,344 square foot restaurant and bar with the ability to accommodate 60 guests. A 945 square foot al fresco patio offers additional seating for 32 diners. Designed as a Mexico City taqueria, the interiors feature an eclectic, funky and colorful design that when complemented by the traditional street style fare, transports you south-of-the-border through a one of a kind culinary and cultural experience. The newest Taqueria La Ventana shares the real estate site with another Firebird Restaurant Group concept, Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar. The two concepts will open in tandem under one roof the beginning of next week.

The expansion of the concept also includes enhanced menu offerings. Developed by Chef Nico Sanchez, who created the award-winning Meso Maya and original Taqueria La Ventana menus, the expanded Addison menu offers a taste of Mexico for everyone.

“Food should be delicious, exciting and about new experiences. Expanding the Taqueria La Ventana concept to Addison means more people can venture into the heart and soul of Mexico’s authentic flavors via the street taco,” said Chef Sanchez. “The expanded Taqueria La Ventana taco menu in Addison is the perfect marriage of chef-driven and traditional Mexican tacos. I believe there’s nothing else like this in North Texas.”

There are many different meats and fillings for burritos, bowls and the famous authentic Taqueria La Ventana Mexican street tacos, which are served on homemade white corn tortillas made fresh daily by the restaurant. The expanded menu in Addison includes:

  • Bistek (steak)
  • Suadero (beef)
  • Carnitas (shredded pork)
  • Pastor (shaved pork)
  • Pollo (chicken)
  • Barbacoa (beef)
  • Camaron (shrimp)
  • Pescado (fish)
  • Calabacitas (veggie)
  • Machaca Con Huevo (shredded beef with egg)

In addition to mouth-watering street tacos, the restaurant also offers Ensaladas Frescas, salads created from a combination of fresh mixed field greens, iceberg lettuce, sweet tomatoes, candied peanuts garapiñados, avocado and fresco cheese topped with charred cilantro vinaigrette and a protein of your choice. Diners can now munch on Chips and Queso, Chips and Guacamole or both at the new location. Savory sides including Elote, Charro Beans, Arroz and Calabacita are also available. Lastly, satisfy a sweet tooth with tantalizing Churros con Cajeta or Crispy Bread Pudding. (See complete menu attached.)

With more choices for eating, come more choices for drinking. This second location of Taqueria La Ventana boasts a full premium bar. Enjoy margaritas, both domestic and Mexican craft cervezas, Mexican sodas and juices, or whatever sounds good.
