Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: DFRG), the owner and operator of the Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, and Del Frisco’s Grille restaurant concepts, today announced that Jeff Carcara has been named Chief Operating Officer.
An accomplished leader in restaurant operations, Mr. Carcara brings to DFRG extensive experience and a proven track record in building and leading successful teams, implementing innovative changes while preserving culture and overseeing disciplined, yet aggressive, growth. He has held positions with increasing responsibility with some of the restaurant industry’s finest companies such as Hillstone Restaurant Group and Darden Restaurants.

Most recently, Mr. Carcara served as senior director of operations for Seasons 52®, a growing concept within Darden’s Specialty Restaurant Group. While at Darden, he was responsible for the operations and financial results of the Seasons 52® concept, lead a team of direct reports including five regional directors, designed a highly effective opening and training process, and created a talent management program. Prior to rejoining Darden in 2004, from 2003 to 2004, he served as corporate director of food and beverage for the Kessler Collection Hotels, where he led implementation of department upgrades, re-branded and created several hotel restaurants, and implemented a nationwide purchasing program. Earlier in his career, Mr. Carcara progressed rapidly though the Houston’s system (part of the Hillstone Restaurant Group) and worked at Darden’s Bahama Breeze restaurant concept.

Mr. Carcara received a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida, completed Level 1 certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, and was selected to participate in the Executive Leadership Excellence Program at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
