Mid-day menu features specialty sandwiches, Fireside favorites perfect for those on the go
One of DFW’s favorite neighborhood dinner destinations has now evolved into a distinctive lunch option as well, as Fireside Pies recently added mid-day hours to its restaurants in Grapevine and Plano’s Shops at Legacy.
From craveable openers like molten meatballs and bruschetta to handcrafted pies topped with the freshest of ingredients, the modern pizzeria’s lunch menu is a delicious and affordable option for on-the-go diners or those looking for a relaxed, casual escape from their busy day.
The expanded hours announcement comes on the heels of Fireside Pies’ 10th anniversary of serving the Dallas area.
“Our loyal guests have been asking us for years to open for lunch, and we collectively made it happen for our guests!” said Kurtis Schart, Senior Director of Operations for Fireside Pies. “We think our expedited service and personalized portions make us the perfect respite for both shoppers and business people alike. Our restaurants at the Shops at Legacy and on Main Street in Grapevine were the ideal places to introduce our lunch-time service.”
Fireside Pies’ new lunch menu includes a mouthwatering assortment of specialty sandwiches, including:
- Meatball Grinder – Roasted ragu, smoked provolone, sweet onion relish and mayo on an Italian roll;
- Grilled Cheese & Peppers – Gruyere, Port Salut, triple-cream brie, basil, piquillo and peppadew peppers on sourdough;
- Country Chicken Salad – Balsamic roasted chicken, Granny Smith apples, dried cranberries, walnuts and celery in rosemary aioli with peperonata and arugula on whole grain; and,
- Italian Hero – Fennel salami, coppa and mortadella with gruyere, smoked mozzarella, pickled peppers and onions, pepperoncinis and mayo on an Italian roll.
“There’s a little something for everyone here. Our menu is great for sharing or for an individualized meal experience. True, our artisan pizzas are to die for, but our sandwiches, salads, appetizers and gluten-free options will satisfy even the pickiest of palates,” said Schart. “While many customers will appreciate our quick service, we also offer a fabulous selection of craft beers, fine wines, sangrias and hand-crafted cocktails for those preferring a more relaxed dining experience.”
There are four Fireside Pies restaurants in the DFW Metroplex. The locations at 1285 Main St. in Grapevine and 5717 Legacy Dr. Suite 110 at the Shops at Legacy in Plano, open at 11 a.m. daily. The Dallas locations – at 2820 N. Henderson Ave. and 7709 Inwood Rd. – open at 5 p.m. daily.
In 2004, Fireside Pies was born in an old cottage on historic Henderson Avenue in Dallas. Today, Fireside Pies is a collection of intimate neighborhood restaurants dedicated to serving outstanding artisan pizzas made in hot wood-fired ovens, as well as items that naturally complement pizza. These include market fresh salads, craveable appetizers, housemade desserts and, of course, a thoughtful selection of fine wines, craft beers and scratch cocktails. Each Fireside Pies restaurant reflects the character of its neighborhood so no two are the same; but all evoke the soul of heartfelt rustic cooking, genuine hospitality and the joyous spirit of a great gathering place.
