The fifth Denver area Freddy’s restaurant opens today at 900 Sgt. Jon Stiles Drive in the Town Center shopping district of Highlands Ranch.
“We are so excited to grow the Freddy’s concept in Denver. Our mission is to serve high-quality, cooked-to-order steakburgers in a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere,” remarked franchise operator Brian Pyle. “Our guests in Colorado seem to appreciate the hospitality as much as our signature turtle sundae. We hope the ongoing expansion efforts make Freddy’s a convenient stop no matter which part of the metro area you’re in.”
Freddy’s first location in Colorado opened during 2009 in Littleton and was followed quickly by three more Denver area locations and a store in Longmont. Early in 2012, a new location opened in Monument and two additional sites are under construction in the Colorado Springs market. Freddy’s is also scheduled to open this fall in Loveland.
“Today marks another milestone for Freddy’s. Less than six months after opening our 60th store, we are opening new stores in Highlands Ranch as well as McPherson, Kansas and thereby crossing the 70 store threshold,” said Freddy’s COO Scott Redler. “Our company is preparing to celebrate our 10th anniversary in August and, thanks to franchisees such as the two opening these store, our team of dedicated employees and, of course, our wonderful and loyal guests, what we couldn’t even dream possible is becoming a reality. For this, we are extremely grateful. Our humble attempt to focus on each and every guest, their families and the wonderful values that made America the home of the brave, all seem to resonate no matter what the market.”
Co-founded by Scott Redler and Bill, Randy and Freddy Simon, Freddy’s opened its first location on west 21st Street in Wichita during 2002, offering a unique combination of cooked-to-order steakburgers, Chicago dogs, and other savory items along with its signature desserts prepared with premium frozen custard made fresh throughout the day in each store. Freddy’s founders operate six locations in the Wichita Metro area and two in the Kansas City market. Sixty franchise units serve other areas of Kansas and Missouri as well as Arizona, California, Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. In 2012, Freddy’s was included in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 and QSR Magazine’s 10 Best Franchise Deals. Freddy’s has also been listed as the Fifth Fastest Growing Chain Restaurant in the United States and Canada by Chain Store Guide, a sister publication to Nation’s Restaurant News. Recently, Freddy’s was recognized by Technomics as the 5th fastest growing burger concept in the country. In the local community of the company’s founding, Freddy’s is a recipient of the 2011 Best in Business Award from the Wichita Business Journal and has repeatedly won first place Readers’ Choice Awards in multiple categories from the Wichita Eagle.
