Goose Feather’s brings traditional, authentic European/American cuisine by embracing the cozy European culture and history through a service-oriented and genuine Euro-café menu offering. The operation that resembles that of a friendly, fun neighborhood eatery you would find in the streets of Paris or Milan. “The Goose Feather’s goal is to consistently deliver an experience that will bring people back, we want to treat people the way we would want to be treated when we go out for a meal,” explains founder Michael Meeks.
For most, it’s a refreshing opportunity to enjoy breakfast or lunch in a fun, upbeat environment that has really great food at reasonable prices. Beth and Michael Meeks fell in love with the concept when they first discovered Goose Feathers. In 2004, they purchased the concept and implemented systems, procedures and operating protocol that would allow the model to be replicated. 2011 was a record year for the Savannah location and 2012 is on pace to set the new benchmark. Restaurant industry analysis by Technomic estimates system-wide sales for the breakfast daypart — which runs from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. — in 2010 at about $42 billion in the U.S., up about 1.2% from 2009.
