Acclaimed Japanese ramen restaurant set to expand into several new markets by year’s end
JINYA Ramen Bar has begun sharing its fresh, authentic ingredients, bold Japanese flavors and distinctive culinary values in multiple new markets in 2022, and several additional openings are projected before the end of the year.
JINYA is ramen culture, where the relationship between broth and noodles is serious but delicious business. The acclaimed ramen brand has grown exponentially this year and is set to open its 50th location by the end of 2022. Following the blockbuster opening of its first location in Honolulu this past August and first location in South Carolina’s Hilton Head in September, JINYA Ramen Bar will finish out the year with new-market launches in Lehi, Utah; Fishers, Indiana; Wichita, Kansas; and Long Beach, California.
“We’re not only meticulous about what we serve, but also in how we run JINYA as a brand and business,” said JINYA Ramen Bar Founder and CEO Tomo Takahashi. “The name of the restaurant comes from a Samurai soldier with strong community ties who owned a small property. Our relationships with the communities we serve have been integral to our success, and we can’t wait to share our ramen and Japanese culture with even more communities across the nation!”
JINYA Ramen Bar is operated by JINYA Holdings, Inc., which also operates bushi by JINYA, Robata JINYA, LBD Japanese Bar and Lounge, and JINYA Ramen Express. In addition to the rapid growth of its lead brand, a new bushi – which specializes in ramen, hand rolls and karaage (Japanese friend chicken) – will be opening in Rancho Cucamonga, California later this year.
“It’s been an amazing journey to see our brands expand into so many new markets this year with the help of our leadership, franchisees and team members,” said JINYA Vice President of Franchise Sales Mike LaRue. “And we couldn’t be more excited for the future as additional franchise partners join our team. The caliber of large multi-unit restaurant groups we’re talking to is exciting and a testament to the hard work put into executing our founder’s vision.”
