McAlister’s Deli, a leading fast casual restaurant, announced a same-store sales increase of 6.4 percent during the second quarter of 2013. This marks the 12th straight quarter of positive sales growth. Comp sales were driven primarily by an increase in entree sales, indicating overall traffic gains for McAlister’s restaurants system-wide.
“We are pleased to deliver another strong sales performance in the second quarter,” said McAlister’s President and CEO Frank Paci. “We continue to have a very positive response from guests to our new and limited-time menu items including our pulled pork sandwich, nachos and spud, as well as our Pecanberry salad.”
McAlister’s has also opened six restaurants year to date and expects to open 15 restaurants this year.
